9/29/06

The robots are continuing to get some color. One more session and a touch up day and they will be done. Then the real fun begins. Inside arm tattoos! I'm banking on Jesus to pull me through. Buy you a beer if you know the TV show that last sentence came from. Chris P is not eligible. Sorry about the photo quality. I can't take the photos and I have Chris P take them early in the morning. The light in the kitchen is crap and the flash washes everything out. I'm working on it. I swear.....

Even more new Chris tattoos

Chris(tine) has decided to get some work done on her shoulder. Christopher is doing the work. She has gone for two sessions so far. It wraps from the top of her shoulder, around and under her arm. Very nice.

New orange and little bots got some color

9/9/06 Almost two years

I was in again today for another hour and a half. Just realized it will be 2 years since I started getting my arms tattooed. Crazy! The little broken robots got some color today and the orange background was started. We still can't decide where/why/what the a marching to and from. I'm still thinking pink bunnies...... Photos soon.

8/19 Some color for the broken robots

7/29 Broken Robot outline

DANG!!!!!!

I just can't keep up with this blog....... I guess that tattooing has become an accepted part of my life. I wonder what I will do once my arms are done? Well, I have another session tomorrow. Since my last post I have got some color on the broken robots and turned 40. I am now an old person. So sad. I had a great birthday though. Thanks to everyone that stopped by the bar to say hi. Especially Larry and Jody. That was so fun sitting on the floor BS'ing. For awhile I was much younger. A couple new tattoo photos to follow. Talk to you in a month or two....LOL

More of the same?

I haven't been very good about keeping up to date on this blog. I choose to blame tv and the world I was brought up in. I just can't keep my head in things for long....... Having said that, I get the pleasure of going under the needle again tomorrow. The outlines for the robots on my left arm/shoulder were inked on July 1st. They are the same three robots, but are returning from whatever the hell they are doing, and are beat up, thrashed, and fleeing. Tomorrow they should get some color. We still haven't figured out where they are going to/coming from. I'm thinking some kind of organic-looking city that they hate. They are mad at all the gently curving buildings and the beautiful beings inside those buildings. Have to talk to Christopher about that. Anyway, Chris said that they should be done in about a year. That should put it at about 2.5 years total. I'll try to post a photo soon.

Poor quality robot photo

I'm still here...REALLY!

Still getting tattooed. Finally took a photo of the robots and will post it shortly. Right arm bots are almost done. Now we will begin the left arm, while we try to figure out what will go on the inside of each arm. Not looking forward to the insides. (shudder)

HMMM......Seems I forgot about this..........

Well? What can I say? Time marches on. Maybe it is a touch of ADD? Guess I kind of forgot about this BLOG. Started thinking about it when a friend sent a link to one he just started. Feel free to check it out. http://rosenwriting.blogspot.com/ It should prove much more entertaining that this! Since July Christopher has completed my lower arms. They were actually done around November. As the last session approached I finally decided that the upper arms need to be inked too. All I could think was "robots". Namely old, square, tin-type robots. I talked to Christopher and he seemed to like the idea. Another challenge. A couple weeks after talking to him about it he had some sketches ready. The right arm will have three robots marching off to battle, all shiny and new. The left arm will have them returning, all broken and used. The trick will be to work that into the lower arms. So far the outline and shading of the robots has been done on my right arm. I'll try to post a couple photos of both the images I gave Christopher and the work so far.
